Attock Petroleum Limited (APL) is the 4th Oil Marketing Company in Pakistan to be granted a marketing license in February 1998. Its first oil discovery in Pakistan was made in Khaur district Attock in 1915. The refining operations were started in 1922 at Morgah near Rawalpindi.

Attock Petroleum Limited is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Executive Retail Development. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and development in the retail sector. As an Executive Retail Development, you will be responsible for supporting the retail development team in expanding the company’s retail network, conducting market research, and ensuring the smooth operation of retail outlets.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying potential retail locations and conducting feasibility studies.
- Conduct market research to analyze customer demographics, competition, and market trends.
- Support the retail development team in negotiating lease agreements, permits, and licenses for new retail outlets.
- Coordinate with internal departments, such as operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure the timely setup and opening of new retail outlets.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to facilitate the construction and setup of retail outlets.
- Assist in developing and implementing retail marketing strategies to drive footfall and sales.
- Monitor and track the performance of retail outlets, including sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on the progress of retail development activities.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to retail development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in BBA (Hons) or MBA, preferably with a specialization in marketing or retail management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of retail development principles, market research techniques, and customer behavior.
- Prior experience in the retail sector or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be eligible to work in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
