Job Overview: As a Manager of Construction at Riphah Group, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating construction projects, from planning to execution. You will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and control project budgets, schedules, and milestones.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Oversee construction staff and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to discuss and resolve project-related issues.
- Monitor project progress, manage delays or emergencies, and ensure compliance with FIDIC based contracts.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong understanding of FIDIC based contracts and engineering/architectural drawings.
- Ability to make quick and intelligent decisions under pressure.
- Effective multitasking and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough understanding of construction materials, techniques, and scheduling.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Minimum of ten years of experience in Residential, Commercial, and infrastructure construction.
- Proficiency in MS Project and Auto CAD.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to traverse and inspect all areas of the jobsite, including walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
- Travel may be required, and a valid driving license is essential.
